Gottfried Kogg was a German engraver and draughtsman. He was active in the beginning of the 18th century in Augsburg (Bavaria). As engraver he did plates about the wars and conflicts affronting Catholics and Protestants on the first half of the 16th century.
He was the teacher of Johann Adam Stockmann, a German painter, draughtsman and engraver, who worked in Augsburg between 1720 and 1783. And specially prolific regarding the episodes of the Seven Years War (1756-1773), according the Benezit Dictionnary of Artists.
