Johann Jakob Kleinschmidt

Johann Jacob Kleinschmidt was born on 1687 (or perhaps, on 1697) and died on 1772. He was a German engraver.

This engraver worked for the printmaker Jeremias Wolfischen in Augsburg. He did also some reproduction’s engravings after paintings of Pierre Drevet or Charles Le Brun, for example.

Works of him are presents in the Royal Collection Trust of British monarchy, in the National Library of France or in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
