We enter in the period of the year that traditionally in the countries of the South of Europe is the time of the holidays.
In our lives, often increasingly tensed, it turns out to be necessary to take rest and to try to obtain silence around, for the need to conduct effective personal introspection, in order to restore lost balances and to design new objectives to follow, ambitious but realistic.
From the collective point of view also we need to stop and to think. Towards where are our societies directed? Why do the hatred, the scorn and the voluntary ignorance – under diverse formulae – progress in such a way that it seems to be irreversible? Which is the reason of so much dissatisfaction? Why do inequalities grow up to the limits of obscenity? Why do the dams of containment to the savagery and before any type of xenophobia break so easily? Certainly many questions for few answers found. And, therefore, many of us need the distantiation of a fresh serene and external look before being able to start outlining a few sincere and satisfactory answers.
Where did our smile stay? Where did our smiles stay? If already the Ecclesiastes says that there is a time for everything, now it is the time of the rest. A rest to start over again in the search of kindness and of the good to do.
Therefore, art can help us, because it takes root in our past, makes us live through the present and helps us to feel the future. For it, if you can, pleas enjoy arts, share art, practice arts, takes part in artistic activities, and… smile…
Smile, relax, enjoy, for example, knowing how someone decides to create a collection. And how he answers the five principal questions: who, what, why, when and how.
I would like to share this with you and therefore I offer this video to you all during this month of August, so that you better know me and, maybe, we know each other’s better. Let us be back with new articles, on the first Thursday of September.
Meanwhile, happy vacations!, good rest!, enjoy art ! long life to arts !
