August Christian Fleischmann was born in 1687 and died in 1736. He was active, as engraver, in Nuremberg between 1704 and 1732.
Some works of him are available in the funds of the Royal Collection Trust of Queen Elisabeth II of Great Britain, and in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
